How Flips work on multis
A multi is a pack of 3 to 5 of a tipster's own racing tips. Its price is set from the live prices of its legs when you Flip, and is between 1 and 6 Flips.
Any TIPR tipster can tip a multi, on the website.
If every leg comes off, you pay the multi's Flip price, and the tipster earns $0.25 for each Flip of the multi's Flip price. If any leg doesn't come off, you pay nothing and your Flips come back to your balance.
If a leg is voided, before or after you Flip, it is removed and the price is recalculated. It never goes up. If fewer than 3 legs remain, or the combined price of the remaining legs falls below the minimum multi price, the multi is void and your Flips come back.
What you see before you Flip
Before you Flip, a multi shows how many legs it has, how many Flips it costs, the band its combined price sits in and the tipster's record on multis. The selections and the analysis show after you Flip.
Multis and singles
The same selection can also be sold as a single tip, and you pay for each tip separately. Multis keep their own record, separate from singles. On the multis leaderboard they rank by the share of legs that came off.
